Travelers Insurance: Intranet

Travelers Insurance was looking to improve the usability and usefulness of their intranet for their current employees benefit. Employees were having a hard time finding the information they needed and voiced their frustrations resulting in IBM being brought on board to implement a user friendly solution.

We ran card sorting tests to determine how to restructure their intranet navigation based on their database constraints along with Microsoft Sharepoint 2010. Equipped with a very small technical team, we had to re-design and re-architect their intranet in a way that was stylistically on brand, easy to implement and easy to use. A build document accompanied the designs and the wireframes, which described the rationale behind our conclusions.
